The Love, KK Scholarship

George Mason University 

Open to George Mason University students currently studying to obtain a Bachelor’s of Arts in communication, with a minimum GPA of 2.5, The Love, KK Foundation will award one student in the fall and one student in the spring a $1,500 scholarship to assist in their tuition or other school related costs such as books or study abroad costs. The same student can earn the scholarship two semesters in a row. The scholarship is need and merit based, and each applicant is carefully considered. Applicants are encouraged to share special circumstances, personal stories, or any other connections that demonstrate why and how the student will benefit from the scholarship award.

The scholarship is given in memory of KK Brady. KK Brady was a star athlete and loving person. She played soccer at George Mason University and had a great desire to travel the world. KK studied abroad in Milan with #MasonCOMM and even used her degree to live her dream as a young entrepreneur and started a successful business that is still a thriving brick and mortar
restaurant today. She balanced fun, play, work and study, and made incredible friends during her time at Mason. Her friends remember KK today for sunny personality and her melodic laughter.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of application

  • Must be a student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in communication at George Mason University at the time of application.

  • Explanation of financial need/assistance in 100 words or less.

  • Description of what you expect to get out of your communication degree and why you chose your concentration.

  • Letter of recommendation from a professor, employer, or mentor depicting your character. This should be emailed directly from the person recommending you to the Love, KK email address: kkbradylove@gmail.com. Please make sure the recommendation letter includes student name and purpose of the email (Love, KK Scholarship recommendation) is included.

The Love, KK Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship

Potomac Falls High School

Love, KK believes that those with an entrepreneurial mindset are in tune with their passion, always questioning how it can be done better, open to change and all possibilities, and above all, execute even when there are risks. The Love, KK Foundation will award one student a $1,000 scholarship to assist in their tuition or other entrepreneurial costs. We welcome all Potomac Falls High School seniors with an Entrepreneurial Spirit mindset to apply for the 2025 scholarship :) Good Luck!
